Mike Greig, an Associate Research Fellow at Pfizer Global R&D in San Diego, leads Analytical Biology, a core mass spectrometry and NMR group. Before joining Pfizer in 1997, he worked at Revlon Science Institute (La Jolla, CA) as a polymer and analytical chemist and at Isis Pharmaceuticals (Carlsbad, CA) as the Mass Spectrometry Lab Manager. He has over 15 years experience in the field of mass spectrometry and analytical chemistry, analyzing everything from small molecules to polymers to proteins. He has taught mass spectrometry classes at various scientific conferences around the world, was a member of the Lab Automation Scientific Committee, and has over 50 presentations and publications. Specific expertise in high throughput MS systems, software and analysis, oligonucleotide analysis, SFC/MS and LC/MS, FTICR-MS, APPI, and general mass spectrometry.

Gary Siuzdak, is Senior Director of the Center for Mass Spectrometry at The Scripps Research Institute where he is also Professor of Molecular Biology. He is the founder of Mass Consortium Corporation (1994), organizer of the San Diego Mass Analysis Network since its inception in 1995, Vice President of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry (2007-2009) and has authored "Mass Spectrometry for Biotechnology" (1996, Academic Press) and "The Expanding Role of Mass Spectrometry in Biotechnology" (2003, MCC Press and 2006 2nd Edition ).
