Be a Hero. Be Like Charles Hawker.
"I was delighted with the 'Take Off With ALA' Flight Discount Program. I usually make my reservations for the conference quite early and since I only travel from Salt Lake City, airfare is not terribly expensive when booked in advance. When I called about the flight discount for LabAutomation2009, I actually expected that my airfare would be too low to qualify, but it wasn't. My fare dropped from $345 to $145. Shortly before the conference I noticed that fares for the same flight were raised to $1,600. When I turned in my expense report and bragged about the $1,455 in savings, I instantly became a 'hero' within my company. I suspect that for other companies sending representatives to LabAutomation2010, especially in the current economy, the Take Off program will be a really meaningful benefit that will positively impact attendance."
