FIRST Partners With SLAS for LabAutomation2011 featuring Two Elite Teams
in the Worldwide FIRST Robotics Competition
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded in 1989 by inventor Dean Kamen to inspire an appreciation of science and technology in young people. The FIRST Robotics Competition is a multinational experience that helps young scientists see the value of education and careers in science, technology, engineering and math. This year we feature Beach Cities Robotics, Team 294 from Mira Costa and Redondo Union High Schools, Redondo, California and the Holy Cows, Team 1538 from High Tech High, San Diego, California. Be sure to visit these outstanding young scientists as they display and operate their winning robots in the SLAS Member Center in the Exhibit Hall.
