LabAutomation2011 Poster Guidelines
The poster program is an effective way to communicate your research to colleagues and has become the "presentation of choice" for many scientists who present at LabAutomation. On your assigned day your poster may be put up anytime after 10 am, but no later than 12:30 pm and removed by 6 pm on that evening. All poster presenters must be registered as full conference, unless you are academic, government or an exhibitor.
All poster presenters must be registered as full conference, unless you are academic, government or an exhibitor.
PRESENTATION: The presenting author must be present 1-3 pm on Monday or Tuesday whichever day you have been scheduled. If you are unable to present your poster, a co-author may present it in your absence as it is critical a knowledgeable representative is stationed by your poster to help with explanations. Please be sure to notify SLAS headquarters if you are unable to present your poster (email to: bdreier@slas.org).
POSTER BOARDS Each poster presentation will be provided one board with pin-able space of 7 feet 6 inches [228.6 cm] across and 3 feet 6 inches [106.7 cm] high. Each board will be numbered on the upper left corner. Be sure you place your presentation on the board number for your poster that appears in the final program which you will receive at the conference registration desk. Please provide your own supplies, including pushpins to mount your poster. Handouts are encouraged.
NOTE: There will NOT be a table underneath the poster board. If you require one, please notify Brenda Dreier immediately at bdreier@slas.org.
