The active participation of its volunteers is what defines SLAS as a member-driven organization. SLAS provides opportunities to volunteer and become involved at many different levels. To volunteer on one of the SLAS committees, individuals must be Premier (or Premier Plus) members, however a one-year Member-by-Contribution option is also available. There are other, non-committee opportunities available as well.
In 2018, SLAS introduced the new governance model in an effort to maximize the depth of the volunteer base and to continue to strive for global representation and leadership. You can read about this new governance model here.
