High-Throughput Flow Cytometry in Drug Discovery

SLAS Discovery Guest Editors Mei Ding, PhD (AstraZeneca) and Bruce S. Edwards, PhD (University of New Mexico) invite the submission of abstracts on topics related to High-Throughput Flow Cytometry (HTFC) for publication in a 2018 special issue. Abstract proposals will be used to select and invite papers for review and publication consideration.

SLAS Discovery is looking for high-quality, short or full length research reports, reviews and perspectives related to all aspects of HTFC. Areas of interest include but are not limited to:

  • HTFC applications for drug discovery or target discovery
  • HTFC for antibody generation screening; biomarker discovery; biochemical applications
  • HTFC using multiplexing approaches
  • HTFC as an alternative for other assay platforms
  • Insights and opinions on HTFC assay design and development
  • Novel assays using HTFC
  • Reagent developments for HTFC applications
  • Developments in HTFC instruments and automation
  • Advances in HTFC data analysis software

Submit your abstract before October 14, 2017.

  1. Submit a title and abstract (up to 500 words) as an MSWord document/attachment to
  2. Include “SLAS Discovery Special Issue / HTFC” in the subject line of your e-mail.
  3. Include your name, affiliation and contact info in the text of the e-mail and in your MSWord document.

Invited authors will be notified by Oct. 18, 2017. Final manuscripts and related materials will need to be completed and submitted by Feb. 1, 2018. All submitted papers will be subject to peer-review to ensure scientific rigor, clarity of expression and integration with other contributions in the SLAS Discovery Special Issue. Submissions from SLAS members and nonmembers are welcome.
