Lane Milde is Director of Global Sample Management at Takeda, where he leads a global team of scientists delivering reliable small- and large-molecule sample management to enable research programs across the portfolio. He brings deep expertise in early discovery operations, compound management, and automation—beginning his career at the University of Wisconsin as a molecular biologist supporting high-throughput screening, then automating biotechnology workflows and developing automated in vitro diagnostic devices. Lane later moved to the East Coast to join Pfizer, where he spent 13 years supporting early discovery through compound management and automated workflow development before joining Takeda.
