Gaurav Agrawal, PhD, leads biopharma partnerships and engagements at Medra, which has built the Physical AI Scientist platform for life sciences R&D. He works closely with leading pharmaceutical companies to deploy physical and scientific AI across complex drug discovery workflows, enabling autonomous and closed-loop experimentation.

Agrawal brings over eight years of experience in strategy, innovation and business development at the intersection of technology and life sciences. Prior to Medra, he held roles at Benchling and L.E.K. Consulting, where he worked with biopharma partners across the pharmaceutical value chain.

He holds a PhD in bioengineering from UC San Diego, where his research focused on biomaterials and stem cell engineering to develop organoid platforms, and a BS in bioengineering from UCLA.
