Standards for Automated Science Education Feedback Workshop

Session 2: Wednesday, August 19 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time

SLAS will conduct a 90-minute webinar to gather reactions and feedback on the latest draft of Standards for Automated Science Education, which will establish evidence-based, interdisciplinary guidelines to help educators prepare students for the technical competencies required in modern laboratory environments.

SLAS Automated Science Education Topical Interest Group (TIG) chairs Kennedy McDaniel Bae, PhD, and Josh Kangas, PhD, will lead the online discussion via Zoom (accommodating North/South American, European and Asian/ROW time zones), to gather feedback concurrently on the three domains of expertise (Hardware, Software and Science).

Another workshop will be held at 10:00 a.m. Central Time on Tuesday, August 18. Participants should register for only one session.
