SLAS Partners with One Nucleus to Strengthen Scientific Knowledge Sharing

For Immediate Release

SLAS News — June 4, 2019 — The Society for Laboratory Automation (SLAS) (Oak Brook, IL) and One Nucleus (London, UK) have teamed up to provide greater knowledge-sharing and connectivity opportunities to their members by collaborating on several in-person and online educational initiatives.

Both organizations produce courses, events and resources within the life science and technology industries and will coordinate access privileges to their respective educational opportunities.

“SLAS is pleased to collaborate with the UK’s One Nucleus to promote and incentivize our members’ participation in what are very complementary educational initiatives and events,” says Vicki Loise, SLAS CEO. “By expanding access to our respective events and resources, SLAS and One Nucleus members gain valuable opportunities to expand their knowledge and tools to do their jobs better.”

SLAS hosts two annual conferences – one in the U.S. and one in Europe – four topical symposia and launched the APPLIED online education platform in March 2019.

Tony Jones, CEO of One Nucleus, expands further: “Collaboration is in the DNA of life science companies as they partner and outsource in order to progress innovative treatments. It is important that membership groups collaborate and connect their respective networks in order to maximize available shared-learning opportunities. Our collaboration with SLAS offers our members access to their knowledge base, connectivity and training at discounted rates to facilitate interaction and progress across our two complimentary foci in the sector.”

One Nucleus offers professional and educational development courses to life science and healthcare companies designed to ensure their employees are kept up-to-date with the latest skills and content available within their industry. Courses are based on the need of each organization and are constantly evolving to meet the demands of a quickly-changing science and healthcare landscape.
