SLAS is excited to bring the SLAS2026 International Conference and Exhibition back to Boston. Please note there is no live-streaming registration option for this event.

Change, Cancellation and Refund Policy (NEW POLICY FOR SLAS2026)

Please note the following new policy for SLAS2026

Cancellation Requests: SLAS will not issue refunds after a registration is completed. All registration sales are final at the time of purchase. You may submit a request for an exception by emailing SLAS2026 Registration which will be reviewed within 30 days post-event.

Substitutions: Substitutions can be made at any time before the registrant's badge being printed onsite. A $50 processing fee will apply to EACH change. To request a substitution, contact SLAS2026 Registration with the name of the original registrant and the name/email address of the substitute. Note: Exhibitor registrants who need to substitute for a registrant using one of their complimentary badges are not subject to the $50 processing fee.

Changes to Registration Type: Those wishing to change their registration type must contact SLAS2026 Registration. Applicable pricing will be applied to upgraded registrations. Downgrades to registration type are not offered.

Membership Fees: Membership dues refunds for dues purchased via the event registration website must be approved by SLAS. To request a membership dues refund, please contact Gina Anzalone.

NEW! Introducing a Pre-Conference Technology Showcase at SLAS2026!

Time: 2:00 - 4:30 pm (shuttle departs convention center for Azenta at 1:00 p.m. and departs Azenta at 5:30 p.m.)

SLAS2026 will feature a half-day off-site Technology Provider Showcase Session hosted by Azenta.

This session is considered an educational collaboration between SLAS and Azenta. Attendees will dive into scientific discoveries made possible by Azenta and the unique equipment they offer. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to tour Azenta's facility and observe the equipment workstreams in real-time.

Short Course Registration

Short course registration is not included in the conference registration fee schedule above and is an additional cost. You may add short courses to your conference registration at any time. Short courses will be held on Saturday, February 7, and Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Student Registration

SLAS is pleased to offer deeply discounted registration to students. Students should be prepared to upload a copy of their valid and current student ID at the time of registration. Student registrations will not be confirmed until a valid copy of the student ID is received by SLAS. See the registration grid above for student registration pricing. The SLAS Corporate Partner Student Support Program provides free Student membership for 2026, see SLAS Membership for more information.

Note: Student conference registration does not include Short Course registration; a discounted rate for Short Courses is available to students.

Unemployed Individual Registration Waiver

Complimentary registration is available upon request and qualification for currently unemployed individuals wishing to attend SLAS2026. The waiver request form is available using the online form. Once the individual's application is reviewed and approved, the Registration Manager will provide a code to be used for complimentary registration within 7-10 business days. Fee waiver is for main registration fee only. Short courses and other add-on options are an additional fee.

Registration Discount Deals

In order to register at the discounted rate(s) as noted above, SLAS must receive all registration forms and payment by the appropriate date, as listed below. Registrations are not honored until payment is received.

SLAS Members Only Discount:	On or before November 3, 2025
Early-Bird Registration Discount:	Between November 4 and December 8, 2025
Advance Registration Discount:	Between December 9 and February 6, 2026

*If your SLAS membership expires before December 31, 2025, you must renew your membership prior to taking advantage of the member discounts for the conference. You may renew your membership during the conference registration process.

Method of Registration

Online registration for SLAS2026 is the only advance registration method as it allows for immediate confirmation and secure payment processing. All conference registration information, including credit card information, is handled by a secure server.

Payments: A credit card is required to complete your registration and is the only method of payment accepted. The list of credit cards accepted are American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

Participants who register online will receive a confirmation e-mail immediately upon successful completion of the registration; if you do not receive a confirmation, please email SLAS2026 Registration.

Visa Invitation Letter (Non-US Attendees)

During the online registration process, you will have the option to request a Visa Letter of Invitation. You must first register — paying any applicable registration fees – before you can request a letter of invitation. You will receive the letter via email 48-72 hours after you complete and pay for your registration and complete the letter request form. In order to request a Visa Letter of Invitation, you will be required to submit the following information:

Name as it Appears on Your Passport

SLAS recommends that all Letter requests be made as early as possible due to the current Visa application processing schedule.

Refund requests due to being denied a visa will be honored per the refund policy if SLAS is notified of the denial by the refund request deadline of December 8, 2025. Requests received after this deadline will be processed within 30 days of the conference conclusion.

Badge Pick Up

Badges will not be mailed in advance of SLAS2026. Please bring your photo ID to SLAS2026 to pick up your badge. Each individual must pick up their own badge and provide photo ID.

Badge Sharing: Sharing of registration badges is not permitted at any time before or during the event. Badges are issued to, can be picked up and used only by the Attendee named in the registration record confirmed by SLAS. Sharing of badges against this policy will result in removal from the event, loss of current and future registration and exhibitor privileges.

BADGE REPRINT: A non-refundable $250 fee will be charged for the replacement of lost, forgotten, or stolen badges. Replacements of damaged or incorrect badges will not be charged a reprint fee when the damaged or incorrect badge is surrendered at registration. A valid photo ID must be presented to obtain a reprinted badge.

Terms and Conditions

All registrants will be required to review and accept the following terms and conditions during the registration process:

PARTICIPANT LIABILITY AND PUBLICITY RELEASE AGREEMENT

I, the undersigned, desire to participate in the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening’s ("SLAS") SLAS Annual International Conference and Exhibition in Boston, MA, USA to be held February 7-11, 2026. In exchange for being permitted to participate in and enjoy the benefits of the Event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

ASSUMPTION OF RISKS. I acknowledge my Event participation may expose me to various risks and dangers. I hereby assume all risks associated with my Event participation, including for personal injury, death, loss of or damage to my property, or any other loss.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, AND ACTIONS. To the extent permitted by applicable law, I hereby waive all claims against, release from all liability (including for negligence), and agree not to bring any action against, SLAS or its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, representatives, contractors, successors, and assigns (collectively, "Released Persons") for personal injury, death, loss of or damage to my property, or any other loss related to my Event participation.

DEFENSE AND INDEMNIFICATION. I shall defend and indemnify SLAS and the Released Persons from all losses, liabilities, claims, and actions (including reasonable attorney's fees and litigation expenses), related to: (i) my acts or omissions; (ii) my Event participation; (iii) the rights granted by me to SLAS under this Agreement; or (iv) my breach of this Agreement.

PUBLICITY PERMISSION. I grant SLAS a worldwide, sub-licensable, assignable, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right (but not the obligation) to photograph, record, digitize, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works based on, publicly perform, publicly display, and otherwise use and exploit my name, image, likeness, voice, biographical information, and other personal characteristics as they may appear in photographs, recordings (audio and visual), writings, messages, and other materials (collectively, "Materials") related to the Event, in all formats and media now known or hereinafter created, for any purpose, including for advertising, trade, and commercial purposes. I acknowledge SLAS is the owner of the Materials and I have no right to inspect or approve the Materials or SLAS's use of the Materials.

MISCELLANEOUS. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, excluding its choice of law rules. Any action must be brought in the federal or state courts located in DuPage County, Illinois. If a court finds a provision of this Agreement unenforceable, the rest of the Agreement remains in effect. As to the provision found unenforceable, the provision is not void but is to be reformed and enforced to the extent permitted by applicable law. This Agreement is binding on me and my heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns.

STATEMENT OF CONDUCT. SLAS has adopted the following Statement of Conduct. By agreeing to the terms and conditions within event registration, you are agreeing to abide by this Statement of Conduct. SLAS reserves the right to remove a non-compliant participant from the event without refund.

EVENT CANCELLATION. SLAS reserves the right to cancel this event due to circumstances beyond the control of the organization. In the event of cancellation, SLAS will do its best to make attendees aware of the cancellation in a timely fashion. Refunds of registration fees are not guaranteed in these circumstances.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING POLICY. No unauthorized photography, audio or video recording is permitted at SLAS events. Photographs are strictly for personal, noncommercial use. Please respect SLAS presenters and attendees and refrain from taking photographs if they request.

REFUND POLICY. Membership dues are non-refundable. Event registration fees are refundable until December 8, 2025, at which time a $100 cancellation fee will apply. After this date, refunds are not available.

NAME SUBSTITUTIONS. Substitution of name on individual registrations are permitted at no charge at any time after registration is finalized, but not after credentials have been picked up at the event.

BADGE SHARING. Sharing of registration badges is not permitted at any time before or during the event. Badges are issued to, can be picked up and used only by the Attendee named in the registration record confirmed by SLAS. Sharing of badges against this policy will result in removal from the event, loss of current and future registration and exhibitor privileges.

WEAPON POLICY. Weapons of any type, functional or non-functional, such as firearms, swords, knives, throwing knives, crossbows, stars, bows, boomerangs, darts, tazers, etc. are strictly prohibited at the Event.

SAFE MEETING GUIDELINES. SLAS will adhere to and publish safe meeting guidelines developed in conjunction with the event facility and applicable governing bodies as deemed necessary. By registering for this event, participants agree to abide by the guidelines in place at the time of the live event. Safety guidelines will be communicated to registrants via email and the event website. SLAS reserves the right to remove non-compliant participants from the event without refund. SLAS reserves the right to amend these guidelines at any time for any reason.

When registering for SLAS2026, you acknowledge receiving the SLAS Privacy Notice (https://www.slas.org/privacy-notice-non-eu/ for US and non-EU citizens or https://www.slas.org/privacy-notice-eu/ for UK and EU citizens) and will be required to agree to the registration terms and conditions. Children under the age of 16 are permitted in the exhibition hall during exhibition hours and must obtain a wristband from the onsite registration counter at SLAS2026. Everyone 16 years of age and older must register.
