SLAS Celebrates World Laboratory Day 2024

Oak Brook, IL (April 29, 2024) – World Laboratory Day, observed on April 23 each year, celebrates laboratories' vital role in scientific research, healthcare, industry and education. The day recognizes the contributions of scientists, researchers and laboratory professionals worldwide and emphasizes the importance of laboratory safety, quality standards and ethical practices in advancing knowledge and technology.

SLAS has been a crucial link between science and technology, fostering collaboration and progress in laboratory automation and screening. Likewise, SLAS’s two peer-reviewed journals expand awareness of these diverse research efforts, from drug discovery to biotech.
